APIs

Dow supplies two Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) intermediates: cholestyramine and polystyrene sulfonate (PSS), used respectively for cholesterol and potassium reduction.

BIOPROCESSING

Dow supplies ion exchange resins and reverse osmosis and nanofiltration elements used in drug manufacturing. Dow technologies also allow anti-oxidants, omega-3 and polyphenols to be extracted and purified, so that they may be added to functional foods.

FORMULATION

Dow Water & Process Solutions has a long experience within the formulations area and has built a broad portfolio of Advanced Release Technologies based around ion exchange resins to improve the delivery of drugs.
