Warranty Evaluation

FILMTEC™ elements will be analyzed to check the validity of a warranty claim. If the return elements are proven defective, replacement or credit will be issued in accordance with the relevant warranty information bulletin (25KB PDF). Elements not found defective will be returned to the buyer freight collect, followed by a written report.

To request a Warranty Evaluation, complete the Return Authorization Form (87KB DOC) and email to SOS@dow.com or fax to 952-838-3936. Shipping instructions and a Return Authorization number will be provided to you from the Membrane Element Analysis Coordinator.

Restock Request

FILMTEC™ elements must be new, in intact, original packaging. Acceptance is dependent on age of membrane(s). A fee of 5% is applied. To request a Restock, complete the Return Authorization Form (78KB DOC) and email to SOS@dow.com or fax to 952-838-3936. Shipping instructions and a Return Authorization number will be provided to you from the Membrane Element Analysis Coordinator.

FILMTEC™ System Optimization Services (SOS)

FILMTEC™ System Optimization Services (SOS) offers membrane element testing services to its customers for a nominal fee. Elements can be tested to determine their suitability for continued operation or to troubleshoot problems in reverse osmosis or nanofiltration systems. In addition to test results, we provide a complete report with a description of the tests performed and the implications of the test results on your operation.
